Growing up, I was athletic and never had an issue with weight until after my college years. 4 years ago I made the decision to live a healthier lifestyle because I wanted to lose 20lbs. Well, what I thought to be a healthier lifestyle! My equation to a healthier lifestyle was the following :
WORKOUT + EAT WHAT YOU WANT = LOSE WEIGHT
I began working out 2-3 times a week. I wasn't seeing the results I wanted, so I began working out 6 times a week. I was still eating whatever and whenever I wanted. I began seeing results. I had lost 10 lbs in the first few months. My body was looking better, but I was not feeling as good as I looked. My energy level was low from the time I got, until the time I went to bed.
My trainer and I sat down and began discussing my eating habits along with supplements. He explained, my issues were bad eating habits along with not taking proper supplements to fill those nutritional gaps. I began to change my eating habits and adding supplements which became a game changer for me. My body started to really change and my energy level was amazing!
About 7 months ago, I began coaching others on proper nutrition and supplements. You've heard the saying, "you can't out exercise a bad diet." This is something I know to be so true because I tried it. I have lived it and failed at it. I became certificed in sports nutrition because I want to help others meet their health and wellness goals.
